A major tweak under hood; the 1300cc motor has been upgraded with a completely rebuilt, 1600cc power plant to back up its aggressive demeanor. Sporting twin EMPI downdraft carburetors on top, and a trick ceramic coated exhaust, make for a sound that V.W. lovers all swoon for. As you nestle down in its supportive, newly recovered two-tone seats, and let your right hand drop to meet that ever so well placed Hurst shifter, and focus on that classic V.W. straight ahead instrument panel…you realize that this is one well thought out driving machine.
