1961 Chrysler Imperial - 61 Chrysler Imperial

I have for sale a 1961 Imperial Custom 4 door. Overall very good solid car and I believe is an excellent foundation for even basic restoration. It was my father's who passed in 2006 and had done some work to it prior to. The exhaust, transmission and brake system has been re-worked, a budget paint job, carpet & headliner. There are a number of misc parts & trim pieces, too. Last summer it developed what is likely a head gasket leak, blowing white smoke out of left pipe from dual exhaust. It also has developed an oil leak that is not yet substantial. The car is in Michigan, but spent a number of years in Florida. What is known to not function is the speedo, gas gauge and radio. Trunk "rim" needs service and lid needs new rubber. It has 413, push button trans, factory A/C, etc. Based on the information accumulated via numerous sources, I am reducing my "asking" to $7900 and will entertain reasonable offers.
